Cheongsams also known as Qi-Pao (Chi-Pao)
in Mandarin, have been worn by Chinese women
since the time of the Manchu Emperors.
Little has changed in their classic design
since that period of history
Cheongsams are commonly made with
beautifully designed Chinese Brocade
Silk Fabric. Woven into the brocade are
geometric symbols, Chinese writing,
plant and floral motifs, which symbolise
Confucian virtues. These spiritual and
